Muddoctor music is a full service music studio featuring the talents of Pianist/Songwriter/Composer/Teacher Dan Mudd. Dan started his path in music as a drummer at an early age and later added the Piano, Flute, and began singing as a teenager. He studied classical music in Baltimore, Maryland with music teachers from the Peabody Conservatory for some years and later studied jazz and contemporary music at the world renown Berklee College of Music in Boston. He later graduated with a degree in Film Scoring. From that point on Dan has been working professionally teaching music, writing music, and performing as a singing/background piano man all over the U.S. for many celebrities such as Robin Williams, John Goodman, Francis Ford Coppola, and Tom Selleck. He recently performed on the nationally televised "The Home and Family" show hosted by Christina Ferrari. He has written and arranged music for television advertising, CD-ROM games, and major studios in L.A. including Buena Vista TV and Fox Television. Dan is also recently featured as an MVP instructional music video artist released worldwide. Look for the video Piano/Keyboard Basics in your local music stores.

Dan approaches his writing the same way an architect would. Everything is very carefully planned and sketched out with all elements of time and space in it's appropriate spot in full detail. A bit of Bach's approach while using the hip and cool tools of the day. A bit of both worlds tends to be the best recipe for great music. The liquid architecture becomes "liquid" as soon as the recording process begins. A bit of spontaneity, adding the right players, a bit of vision added and walaa-Liquid Architecture!
